CAN Advisory is an independent governance, compliance and strategic advisory practice. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal services through CAN Advisory.

CAN's work is centred on helping individuals, families and business owners think clearly about significant decisions, understand their implications, identify risks, and put appropriate governance, ownership, protection and succession arrangements in place.

CAN's advice may draw on Catherine Ama Nartey's legal knowledge and professional experience. This does not, however, make an advisory engagement with CAN Advisory a legal services engagemen.

Where a matter requires formal legal advice, legal representation, the preparation or execution of legal instruments, or other regulated legal services, those services are provided separately by Catherine Ama Nartey in her personal capacity as a licensed practising lawyer, where appropriate, or by an appropriately licensed lawyer or law firm to whom the client may be referred.

Where other specialist professional services are required, CAN may also work alongside or coordinate with the client's existing or appropriately qualified accountants, tax advisors, bankers, investment managers, trustees, valuers and other professional advisors. CAN Advisory does not replace these professionals. Its role is to help the client understand the wider picture, identify the decisions that matter, and ensure that the relevant professional advice is brought together appropriately.

An engagement with CAN Advisory should not be understood as creating a lawyer-client relationship with CAN Advisory itself. Any separate legal engagement with Catherine Ama Nartey or another lawyer or law firm will be subject to its own terms of engagement and applicable professional obligations.
